Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was like a royal experience, with beautiful views from the top of the building overlooking the stunning grounds. The service was exceptional, with dedicated staff going out of their way to ensure a memorable stay. The location, despite a bit of cleanliness issue, offered a picturesque setting perfect for weddings and parties. The dining experience showcased delicious cooked food, though with some delay and limited options.
The hotel room was ready early, spacious with a lovely garden view, and well-decorated creating a great party atmosphere with efficient bar service. However, there were some coffee stains on the stairs to the breakfast room.
The hotel was a perfect choice for our wedding preparations. The rooms had lovely, thoughtful touches that made getting ready for the big day itself very easy. The service was exceptional, making our day fantastic and stress-free. The location was excellent, quiet, and safe, with beautiful gardens for relaxation. The dining experience was exactly what we needed after a fun night. Overall, a great value for money option with some minor room drawbacks.
The hotel rooms had had a makeover since our last visit, so they were even better than before. However, they could have been cleaner as we found a dirty tissue by the bedside table and hair clips on the floor. The floorboards in room 12 were very creaky, and there was a terrible noise from the water system that left us puzzled. The service staff ensured a smooth transition from reception to the evening event, and they were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we booked our wedding. The hotel location was gorgeous, looking out onto the surrounding fields, but it could have been a bit nearer to the hotel. The dining experience was adequate but minimal, and we had to select our choices the day before. The facilities were good, but we noticed a bit of an industrial wheelie bin. Overall, a decent stay for my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.
The hotel was beautiful with breathtaking views from all aspects of the room. The wedding decorators, Leonora and James, made the room look amazing, fit for a king or a queen. The three-course wedding breakfast was a delicious delight. However, I sadly had to leave at 6 am before breakfast.
The hotel rooms were a perfect size for the number of guests and looked amazing thanks to the in-house wedding decorators, Leonora and James. The wedding breakfast was three courses of deliciousness. Although the rooms are a little dated and tired, they are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel has had a makeover since our last visit, making it even better than before.
